Research
The Research Centre was founded in 2002 and has since co-ordinated all research projects and scientific activities undertaken at St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences.
The most important tasks of the Research Centre are the strategic planning and positioning of the scientific activities of the University of Applied Sciences, the ongoing development of new and practically-oriented research projects, project management, fund raising and project acquisition, as well as networking in this field.
The Research Centre is organised with a major participation of lecturers and students in the projects. This guarantees that research and instruction are directly linked. A special emphasis is on co-operations with partners in and outside Austria.
An academic journal is published annually.
