International students can rely on the support of an academic supervisor assigned to them personally and on the International Students' Network which helps them integrate into the student community. Academic staff, International Office and the student network work together to ensure a successful study-abroad period.
The primary language of instruction at St. Pölten is German, with a small but increasing number of lectures and seminars being held in English. German classes are offered to all international students.
Exchange students find all relevant information for their stay at St. Pölten UAS in the International Student Guide. They are advised to choose their subjects from the Course Catalogue when putting together the individual study programme.
International students of Social Work wishing to find a work placement in the St. Pölten/Vienna area can contact Christine Haselbacher for advice.
