ÖSD Language Diploma

Well, we don't think so! While studying in St. Pölten, why not take the opportunity to acquire an international German language certificate?

The St. Pölten University of Applied Sciences is an exam centre for the Österreichisches Sprachdiplom Deutsch (ÖSD). ÖSD certificates are state-accredited and internationally recognised.

The certificate is available at five different levels:

• Grundstufe Deutsch (A2)
• Zertifikat Deutsch (B1)
• Zertifikat Deutsch für Jugendliche (B1)
• Mittelstufe Deutsch (C1)
• Wirtschaftssprache Deutsch (C2).

The diploma is awarded after candidates have successfully passed a one-day exam held at the university. The exam puts a special emphasis on communicative competence and takes into consideration the regional diversity that exists in the German speaking world.
